Allama Sajid Mir was born on 2 October 1938 in the Sialkot city of Pakistan. His family was very religious and they are Kashmiri. He is the relative of the Muhammad Ibrahim Mir Sialkoti who was a very well known scholar.Education

In 2009 Allama Sajid Mir Sahib became a senator in Pakistan. He got a special seat for experts and religious leaders. His party was PML-N. He was the head of a group for science and technology.
