On 18 October 1964 Dr Zaikr Naik was born. The name of the father of Dr Zakir Naik is Abdul Karim Naik and the name of mother is Roshan Naik. He was born in Mumbai , India. He studied from the Kishinchand Chellaram College and completed his medical studies from the Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital and then went to the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Mumbai.

In 2013 Dr Zakir Naik got the Award of Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work from the Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi who is the Crown prince and the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and in the same year he got the award of Dubai International Holy Quran Award from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the vice president and prime minister of UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.

Dr Zakir Naik also received the Tokoh Ma'al Hijrah 1435/2013 Award from Abdul Halim of Kedah, king and head of the state of Malaysia in the same year 2013. In 2015 Dr Zaik Naik was honoured with the Service to Islam reward from the The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
