Surah Taubah is the ninth chapter of the Quran and this surah consists of 129 verses. The meaning of the Taubah is “The Repentance” It is the unique surah from the Quran because it does not begin with Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim.
This surah teaches us to ask Allah for forgiveness and reminds us that Allah is kind to those who truly repent. The Surah also talks about how to handle agreements with non Muslims showing what happens if someone breaks the agreement while making sure justice is done. It also warns about the actions of Munafiqoon as their bad behavior harms the Muslim community.

Bukhari Hadith No 7425
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: Abu Bakr sent for me so I collected the Qur'an till I found the last part of Surat-at-Tauba with Abi Khuza`ima Al-Ansari and did not find it with anybody else. (The Verses are): -- 'Verily, there has come to you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves..(till the end of Surat Bara'a) (i.e., at- Tauba).' (9.128-129).
Sahih Bukhari Hadith No 4364
Narrated Al-Bara: The last Sura which was revealed in full was Baraa (i.e. Sura-at-Tauba), and the last Sura (i.e. part of a Sura) which was revealed was the last Verses of Sura-an-Nisa':-- They ask you for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) About those who have No descendants or ascendants As heirs. (4.177)
