Surah Al Imran with Urdu Translation

Surah Al Imran is the third chapter of the Quran and it has 200 verses and this Surah was revealed in Madinah after Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW moved to Madina. The chapter is named after the family of Imran which includes important people like Hazrat Maryam and her son, Prophet Isa .

This Surah also talks about believing in one Allah and staying strong in faith and being patient. The Surah also mentions the struggles of believers, the battle of Uhud and teaches lessons about patience and trusting Allah.

Importance of Surah Al Imran

   

To know about the importance of Surah Al Imran we should consider the Hadiths of our prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW. Here you can read some hadiths of Hazrat Muhammad SAW about the Surah Al imran.

The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW said to Muadh: “Should I not teach you a supplication which, when used to implore Allah, Allah shall pay your debt, even if it be as huge as Mount Uhud? He then mentioned them (i.e. Surah al Imran verses 26 & 27)”

Abdullah ibn Masud said: “What an excellent treasure Surah al Imran is to the pauper when he recites it in prayer during the last part of the night”

Abu Umamah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessing be upon him) Said:-

“Read the two radiant ones al-Baqarah and Al ‘Imran for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds or two shades or two flocks of birds, pleading for their companions”

The Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAW also said: “Allah’s most Magnificent name which when used to implore Him, He responds, is found in three Surahs. Al Baqara, Al’ Imran, and Taha”
