سورۃ الجمعہ (62 ویں سورت) اللہ تعالی کی عظمت کو خوبصورتی سے اجاگر کرتی ہے۔ اس سورت میں 11 آیات ہیں جو جمعہ کی نماز اور ذکر الٰہی کی اہمیت پر زور دیتی ہیں۔ نماز جمعہ کے بعد، مومنین کو ہدایت کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ اللہ کی یاد میں مشغول رہیں، اپنے دل و دماغ کو دنیاوی خلفشار سے ہٹا کر اپنے خالق کی طرف لے جائیں۔
