Surah Ash-Shura is the 42nd chapter (Surah) of the Quran and this surah has 53 verses and this surah was revealed in Makkah. The name "Ash-Shura" means "The Consultation" and comes from verse 38 which talks about the importance of believers discussing and making decisions together.
