"ذُوالْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ" اللہ تعالیٰ کے عظیم صفاتی ناموں میں سے ہے، جو اس کی شان، عظمت، جلال، اور بندوں پر احسانات کی گواہی دیتا ہے۔ قرآن مجید میں سورۃ الرحمٰن کی دو آیات میں یہ صفاتی نام آیا ہے، جن میں فرمایا گیا: "وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ" (آیت 27) اور "تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ" (آیت 78)۔ یہ الفاظ اس بات کی علامت ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات ہمیشہ باقی رہنے والی اور ہر طرح کی عزت و بزرگی کا مالک ہے۔ حدیث مبارکہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "الِظُّوا بِـيَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ" یعنی "اس نام کو لازم پکڑو" (ترمذی: 3524)، جو اس ذکر کی فضیلت اور اہمیت کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔ اس مبارک ذکر کے ذریعے انسان اللہ کے قریب ہوتا ہے، اس کی محبت حاصل کرتا ہے، اور دعائیں قبول ہوتی ہیں۔

  "Zul-Jalali wal-Ikram" is among the majestic names of Allah that reflect His grandeur, majesty, and kindness to His servants. This attribute is mentioned in two powerful verses of Surah Ar-Rahman: “And the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor, will remain forever” (55:27) and “Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor” (55:78). These verses highlight Allah’s eternal existence and His unmatched glory and generosity. In a hadith recorded in Tirmidhi (3524), the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Cling to saying: Ya Dhal-Jalali wal-Ikram," emphasizing the importance of frequent remembrance of this name. This dhikr draws the believer closer to Allah, earns His love, and serves as a powerful tool in having prayers answered.
